Mr. Yirivinti holds a Master of Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutics from JSS College of Pharmacy, India. During his master’s dissertation, he worked as a research intern at the Institute of Nanoscience and Technology - India, conducting research on folate coated luteolin liposomes assisted with NIR triggered release for the effective treatment of lung cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. He characterized the drug loaded liposomes and evaluated the activity in A549 and RAW 264.7 cell lines. The data supports the synergistic effect of drug and NIR for treating cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. Subsequently, he worked as a summer intern at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)- Hyderabad, where he developed PLGA nanoparticles for breast cancer therapy. Hayagreeva joined The Arora Lab in August 2023, where his research focus will be on establishing continuous low-dose cancer chemotherapy.
